Star-Clicks Review: Should You Sign Up or Not?

Star-Clicks is a website that claims to be the largest advertising network and ads provider since 2008. So what star-clicks basically does is to provide a platform for organizations and website owners known as โ€œAdvertisersโ€ to advertise their websites to potential customers and visitors. This helps such advertisers improve their website SEO and page rankings.

Publishers which are basically people like you get paid to click on websites provided by advertisers while advertisers which are businesses, put their websites on the platform for publishers to click on to improve their websites' SEO
Star-Clicks offers earning opportunities for publishers and advertising opportunities for businesses

The advertisers are charged a fee for the advertisement. These ads are then pushed to the workers on the platform known as โ€œPublishersโ€. The job of publishers is to click and view the ads presented to them on their PTC pages which they later receive incentives for. So in short, star-clicks is a PTC ( Paid-To-Click)  site that pays you to click on and view ads for a couple of seconds.

What Are The Features of Star-Clicks?

Membership

There are 3 types of memberships offered to publishers on the platform. They are Silver, Gold, and Platinum. New publishers are automatically silver members when they sign up because the silver membership is free. The number of ads available for silver members is quite limited, ranging from 1 to 5 ads per day. The ad payout is also very low which is $0.01 per ad view.

Gold and Platinum memberships on the other hand offer an increased number of ads as well as high payouts. Gold membership claims to offer publishers ads that pay โ€œfromโ€ $0.01 for a monthly fee of $30 which is not clear on their website. You only find this out after paying for the membership. It is also stated that Gold members can make up to $5 per day which is kind of far from the truth because they do not tell you on their homepage that youโ€™ll need a personal website to host their ads in order to make that.

Even with that $5 per day is still not guaranteed I upgraded my star-clicks account one time and I was receiving from 70 to 100 ads per day and clicking was stressful considering how low these ads paid and how many they were. This membership also comes with weekly payouts.

Platinum membership also boasts of its members earning up to $8 per day at a monthly rate of $60. Ads on this membership pay $0.02 per click. Platinum also claims to have no payout limits and likewise the Gold membership, you would be given an HTML code to put up Star-Clicks ads on your website. This is where the majority of your earnings are supposed to come from which is quite an inconvenience.

Mobile App

Star-Clicks claims to have a mobile app on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. From thorough investigation and tryouts with different devices to find the app on these marketplaces, I can say for a fact that a Star-Clicks app does not exist. So that is a case of false advertisement on their path.

Referral Program

Star-Clicks has a referral program where you can invite your friends and family to their platform and you get to earn a commission. You receive $0.08 when your referrals sign up on Star-Clicks and remain on the basic (free) plan which is the silver membership. You receive $5 and $10 when your referrals upgrade to gold and platinum memberships respectively.

Star-Clicks claims to offer a variety of features on their platform. These include a desktop and mobile app, the ability to click everyday. silver gold and platinum membership, more than one withdrawal methods and many other features

Who Can Sign Up on Star-Clicks?

Star-Clicks is available to individuals worldwide.

How Much Can I Earn on Star-Clicks?

As stated earlier the amount you earn on Star-Clicks depends on the membership you are on. Silver members can earn up to $0.06 per day, gold members can earn up to $5 per day and platinum members can earn up to $8 per day.

How Do I Withdraw My Earnings on Star-Clicks?

Star-Clicks offers 4 different payment methods which are Direct Bank Transfers, Western Union, Paypal, and Bitcoin. The minimum withdrawal amount on Star-Clicks is $50 which I find ridiculous considering how long youโ€™d have to work clicking on ads in order to accumulate such an amount.

Star-Clicks also has a feature called โ€œAuto payoutโ€. Enabling this feature gives you the opportunity to receive random payouts on random occasions. I do not know if this feature actually works because I never received an auto-payout even though I had a convincing amount in my account balance.

Also, before Star-Clicks issues a payout they require you to perform a verification and fill out a form: The details include Providing:

โ€ข  A scan of your ID/Passport and official translation in English (The translation should be approved by a lawyer with an official stamp)

โ€ข A proof of address (e.g. phone bill, electricity bill, bank statement, or credit card statement showing your address. It should match with your address on your profile)

โ€ข Tax Authority Confirmation (e.g. A confirmation letter from your tax office confirming your tax status)

โ€ข An Economic Profile (a form) with personal details which include your full name, nationality, birthdate, residential address, country, telephone number, online work appetite, anticipated annual investment amount, total annual income, estimated net worth, and employment status among many others.

I find this to be very sketchy because I do not understand why a PTC website will request all this confidential information from their workers to send out a payout of just $50.

Final Thoughts

This all boils down to the question in the title. Should you sign up on Star-Clicks or not? From my experience, I advise anyone who is planning on doing so to not waste their time and energy on the platform. Star-Clicks is not worth it and I do not trust them enough to advise anyone to sign up on their website. I cannot tell if they are a scam or not because there are quite a number of reviews online with people claiming to have received their payouts (at least a portion of it) after they filled out the forms and provided all that was required of them by the company.

All the same, the negative reviews outweigh the positives with many people also complaining to not have received anything from them. Others have also reported Star-Clicks closing their accounts when they were almost close to the payout amount or requested a payout. Should you avoid Star-Clicks? Yes, you should.
